1914 E145 Cracker Jack #7 Eddie Collins

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $960

Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Very attractive example of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This card is bright and clean with a bold red background and light even wear to the corners. Ideally, this particular example is free of the scattered caramel staining on the front and back which is characteristic of the #144 series cards and found on almost all examples. Well centered (very slightly to the top). The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. It is rare to find any #144 series Cracker Jack in such a desirable grade, let alone such a clean and attractive example of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins. SOLD FOR $960
