1914 E145 Cracker Jack #37 Grover Cleveland Alexander SGC NM 84

Starting Bid - $2,500, Sold For - $9,600

Graded NM 84 by SGC. One of only two examples graded at this level by SGC with just one higher. Stunning ultra high-grade example of Hall of Famer Grover Alexander from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This is a tremendous 1914 Cracker Jack Hall of Famer example in every way! This card presents with flawlessly bold colors, a deep red background, four strong corners, and outstanding centering, very slightly to the bottom. Entirely free of any caramel staining, which is almost never the case with #144 series cards. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. This is an extraordinary world-class example of Hall of Famer Grover Alexander from the classic 1914 Cracker Jack series, worthy of the finest Cracker Jack set or Hall of Fame card collection. The equivalent SMR value in the assigned grade is $7,750. SOLD FOR $9,600
