1914 E145 Cracker Jack #66 Nap Lajoie SGC EX 60
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,160
Graded EX 60 by SGC. Extremely attractive high-grade example of key Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. Bright and crisp, with four sharp corners, and flawless color. Scattered traces of light caramel staining are visible on front and back, as is almost always the case with #144 series cards. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. It is rare to find any #144 series Cracker Jack in such high grade, let alone a high-grade example of a significant Hall of Famer such as Nap Lajoie. This is a tremendous 1914 Cracker Jack #66 Nap Lajoie example, worthy of the finest 1914 Cracker Jack set or prewar-card collection. SOLD FOR $2,160
