1909-1911 T206 White Border Kid Elberfeld Washington, Portrait SGC-Graded Collection (3)

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,080

Collection of three rare T206 Elberfeld (portrait), Washington variations. This card has always been recognized as one of the key rarities of the T206 White Borders tobacco-card series, and it is for this very reason that the collector who consigned this lot saved this trio. The offered examples are graded and encapsulated by SGC (all submitted by REA) and originate from an extremely old-time collection. Each card presents with a bold red background, even wear to the corners, and light creasing. One example grades GOOD 30 (Sweet Caporal 350) while the other two grade FAIR 20 (Piedmont 350). Any one of these three cards would be a welcome addition to any near-complete T206 collection. Three very attractive modestly graded examples of one of the very scarce cards in the classic T206 White Border set. Total: 3 cards. SOLD FOR $1,080
