1909-1911 T206 White Border Southern Leaguers PSA-Graded Collection (10) Including One Hindu Back

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $3,000

Collection of ten different T206 Southern Leaguers (out of the 48 cards which comprise the entire scarce “Southern League” subset), each graded and encapsulated VG-EX 4 by PSA (except for one EX 5 and two VG 3, as noted below). All have Old Mill advertising backs unless otherwise noted. This collection consists of the following: Bernard - Nashville, Coles - Augusta (Piedmont), Fritz - New Orleans (VG 3, Hindu), Greminger - Montgomery (EX 5, Piedmont), McCauley - Portsmouth (Piedmont), Miller - Dallas (VG 3), Mullaney - Jacksonville, Persons - Montgomery, Revelle - Richmond, and Thebo - Waco. The Southern Leaguers have always been appreciated for their scarcity and as a popular subset to the T206 series. Collectors find it particularly challenging to assemble a complete set. The scarcity of the Southern Leaguers has always made putting together a complete T206 set all the more difficult, and this collection represents a particularly attractive and affordable foundation for the assembly of this popular T206 subset. The total SMR value in the assigned grades is $1,920. Total: 10 cards. SOLD FOR $3,000
