1909-1911 T206 White Border Roger Bresnahan with Bat SGC NM/MT 88

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $2,280

Graded NM/MT 88 by SGC. Stunning ultra high-grade example of Hall of Famer Roger Bresnahan/with bat from the legendary T206 White Border set, the most popular set of the era. This is the only example of Bresnahan/with bat graded at this level by SGC (two other cards are graded NM/MT 88 but the pose is not specified). The offered card, not surprisingly, displays four razor-sharp corners, snow-white borders, flawless colors, perfect clarity and registration, and is crisp and clean, front and back. Near-perfect centering, with a natural diamond cut present on the top and bottom edges, which does not detract from the overall visual appeal of the card. The Piedmont advertisement on the reverse is entirely clean and centered to the right. A simply astounding NM/MT card of a significant Hall of Famer that would enhance or upgrade virtually any high-grade set or collection. SOLD FOR $2,280
