Three 1975 Topps Uncut Sheets Including Brett and Yount Rookies
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,560
Collection of three 1975 Topps uncut production sheets, with 132 cards on each sheet, complete with printed reverses, loaded with Hall of Famers and stars, including one sheet which features the key rookie cards of Hall of Famers George Brett and Robin Yount. 1) One sheet features twelve Hall of Famers, including Schmidt, Fisk, and Ryan HL and eleven MVP cards. 2) A second sheet features Ryan (tiny wrinkle), Rose, Jackson, and Palmer, as well as five League Leader cards, including Ryan. 3) The third sheet includes the important rookie cards of Brett (two small fisheyes, otherwise Mint) and Yount (small surface dimple), as well as Munson and Hall of Famers Bench, Morgan, Gibson, Blyleven, Fingers, and several Highlights cards. These are full 132-card production sheets, each measuring approximately 25-7/8 x 38 inches. Each sheet has been stored rolled and has survived in exceptional condition, with only minor imperfections mostly relegated to the edges, including tiny creases and minor edge and corner wear, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets. The interior cards remain, in many cases, Near Mint or better, with only a few affected by surface wrinkles or other minor flaws. The sheets have an overall Near Mint appearance and would be ideal for display and framing. Three extremely impressive uncut sheets from this classic 1970s Topps issue, highlighted by one sheet featuring the key rookie cards of George Brett and Robin Yount. Total: 3 sheets. SOLD FOR $1,560
