1949 Bazooka Bubble Gum Advertising Poster

Presented is an extremely attractive Bazooka Bubble Gum advertising poster promoting the company's giveaway of scouting knives to the first 10,000 people who redeemed one hundred wrappers from one-cent packages of Bazooka gum. The display, which measures 18 x 6.5 inches, advertises the company's new one-cent package containing two pieces of gum on the left side and details of the giveaway knife on the right. In the center of the sheet are details of the giveaway, the company address, and an expiration date of December 15, 1949. The poster is extremely colorful, featuring a mix of red, white, and blue, and presents in overall Excellent condition. It has been folded neatly over time into thirds, but remnants of two other fold lines are still visible. Free of any creases or tears and displaying light adhesive residue on the blank reverse, likely from display. Outstanding piece of extremely early Topps-related advertising. SOLD FOR $240
