1941 The Three Stooges So Long Mr. Chumps Title Lobby Card

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $3,300

Title lobby card from the Three Stooges 1941 short So Long Mr. Chumps. The plot featured the boys as street cleaners who find an envelope full of oil bonds, which they return to the rightful owner, B. O. Davis. In a series of convoluted events, they end up in prison while working on a mission for Davis, only to find out at the end that Davis is none other than "Lone Wolf" Louie, a noted bond swindler. The card (14 x 11 inches) displays a few tiny, repaired, edge tears and numerous light creases. A pencil notation and the stamp of a New York poster-supply company appear on the reverse. In Good to Very Good condition overall.
