Presented is an unusual type-card collection of thirteen cards from twelve different prewar-card issues spanning the years 1887 to 1923. This collection consists of the following: 1)1887 N284 Buchner Gold Coin Tobacco: Corbett (presents Vg, with spots of paper loss on each of the four corners on reverse). 2) 1909 W555: Jones (Gd). 3) 1909-1910 German Baseball Stamps: Rowan (Vg-Ex). 4) 1910 H801-7 Old Mill Tobacco Cabinet: Hobbs (Pr). 5) 1910 T209 Contentnea Cigarettes Photo Series: Humphrey (Gd/Vg). 6) 1910 T210 Old Mill Cigarettes: Kaphan (Series 3, possible slight trim, otherwise Vg-Ex). 7-8) 1911 T205 Gold Border: Downey (Fr, American Beauty) and Merritt (possible slight trim, otherwise Gd, minor leaguer). 9) 1912 C46 Imperial Tobacco: Smith (Gd). 10) 1913 T200 Fatima Cigarettes: Philadelphia Americans (Fr, small piece of top right corner missing). 11) 1919-1921 W514: #26 O'Neil (Vg, irregular cut). 12) 1922 E120 American Caramel: Courtney (Vg+). 13) 1923 W572: R. Grimes (Vg-Ex, irregular cut). This is a small but desirable and fascinating group of prewar cards, highlighted by an extremely scarce H801-7 sample. Total: 13 cards.
