1958 Topps #62 Jim Brown Rookie SGC NM/MT+ 92 - Highest Graded!
Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $4,800
Graded NM/MT+ 92 by SGC (submitted by REA). Highest-graded example by SGC! Magnificent ultra high-grade example of legendary Hall of Famer Jim Brown's rookie card. This card originates from an old-time complete set consigned to this auction (which was probably put away in 1962 and has not seen the light of day in decades!) and is being offered individually due to its extraordinary condition. This is a sharp card! Exceptionally crisp, with four razor-sharp corners, snow-white borders, a crisp image, and outstanding centering. Free of the registration problems that often plague this particular card, as well as distracting print dots or print lines. This is a remarkably high grade for a Jim Brown rookie card: out of 2,523 examples evaluted to date by PSA and SGC combined, only five have ever been graded MINT (all PSA)! A beautiful and extremely highly-graded example of Jim Brown’s most desirable card, worthy of the finest 1958 Topps or Hall of Fame rookie-card collection. The equivalent SMR value in the assigned grade is $5,250. SOLD FOR $4,800
