Helmar Baseball Collection - Various Issues

This collection is comprised of four different Helmar issues: "L1" leathers, "Big League Brew" bottle crowns, "L3" cabinet cards, and a "Pharaoh's Choice" Imperal cabinet. 1) Collection of seven leathers (7.5 x 9 inches), similar in design to the "L1" leather tobacco premiums, issued in 2011 and 2012 only. Five different ballplayers are represented here, plus two different American Indians. All bear a "2011" copyright on the reverse. The collection is comprised of the following: Honus Wagner, Bill Carrigan, Rogers Hornsby, Tim Keefe, Chief Bender, Sitting Bull, and Ap Pa Noo See. All of the leathers are in Near Mint condition. 2) Complete set of twenty-four "Big League Brew" bottle crowns. In keeping with the Helmar tradition, both Hall of Fame and non Hall of Fame players were issued in this set, as well as Negro League players. This set was only offered in 2003. Some players are featured in the set more than once, each in a different pose. The players represented in the set, with number of bottle crowns for each player (if more than one) listed in parenthesis, are Babe Ruth (3), Walter Johnson (2), Honus Wagner (3), Mickey Cochrane (2), Jimmie Foxx (2), Lefty Grove (2), Christy Mathewson, Joe Jackson (2), William Rogell (2), Cool Papa Bell, Mordecai Brown (3), and Herb Pennock. Near Mint condition overall. 3) Collection of three "L3" cabinet cards (4 x 9.5 inches). Each cabinet card features a small leather and illustration of the respective player. This set began production in 2012 and new additional leathers are still being issued today. All of the offered leathers bear a "2012" copyright on the reverse. The players represented here are Stan Coveleski, Kid Foster, and Mike Donlin. Near Mint condition overall. 4) "Pharaoh's Choice" Imperial cabinet photo (8 x 10 inches) of Grover Alexander. This set began production in 2010 and new additional imperial cabinets are still being issued today. The cabinet (circa 2012) features an extremely thick, ornate border. There is some slight printing residue on the face of the card, otherwise in Near Mint condition. Total: 35 items (7 leathers, 24 bottle crowns, 3 cabinet cards, and 1 Imperial cabinet card).
