Circa 1960s Rawlings Babe Ruth League Baseballs in Original Boxes (10)
Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $237
Group of ten Rawlings "BRO" Babe Ruth League baseballs, circa 1960s, each housed in its original box. The ten individual ball boxes are, in turn, housed in their original twelve-count Rawlings box. Six of the ball boxes have been opened. The other four remain factory-sealed. The six balls in the opened boxes all display varying degrees of light-to-moderate age toning and are otherwise in Mint condition with the exception of one (a few minor abrasions on a side panel). The four remaining balls are, presumably, in Mint condition as well. Also included is one empty individual ball box. All of the boxes, both sealed and unsealed, display light wear and are in Excellent to Mint condition overall. The larger twelve-count box (11.75 x 9 x 3 inches) remains in Very Good to Excellent condition. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $237
