1933 New York Yankees Team-Signed Ball with Ruth, Gehrig, and Hornsby

Official American League (Harridge) ball signed in blue fountain pen by the following seventeen members of the 1933 New York Yankees: Ruth (sweet spot, "5"), Gehrig ("4/5"), Pennock, Dickey, Gomez, Lazzeri, Combs, Sewell, Allen, Van Atta, Crosetti, Jorgens, Byrd, Perkins (coach), MacFayden, Uhle, and one other (illegible). Additionally, the ball has been signed in black fountain pen by four members of the 1933 St. Louis Browns: Hornsby (player/manager), West, Burns, and one other (illegible). Hornsby joined the Browns on July 26, 1933, and Uhle joined the Yankees on July 24th of that year, thereby dating this ball to the second half of the 1933 season. Signatures range from "2" to "6," averaging "4/5." The ball displays a few scattered areas of minor age toning and is otherwise in Excellent condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $500.
