1933 R319 Goudey #160 Lou Gehrig

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,541

Graded VG/EX+ 55 by SGC. Attractive example of one of the most popular of all Lou Gehrig cards, and one of the most classic of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. Bright and clean. Strong colors. Centered to the top with light, even corner wear most noticeable to the bottom two. The reverse of the card is also extremely clean, with bold green text. This is an extremely impressive, technically mid-grade card that is an outstanding yet still relatively affordable example of one of card collecting's most iconic cards. The equivalent SMR value in VG-EX 4 is $1,325 and $2,000 in EX 5. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,541
