1921 to 1928 Exhibits Hall of Famer Collection (17) Including R315 Lou Gehrig

Collection of sixteen different Exhibit cards comprised exclusively of Hall of Famers, from seven different Exhibit-card issues, spanning the years of 1921 to 1928 as well as a 1928 R315 of Lou Gehrig. These cards originate from a very old time collection of cards and memorabilia consigned to this auction by the family of an early hobby pioneer. 1) 1921 Exhibits (3 cards): Max Carey (Vg), Walter P. Johnson (Vg), and Geo. L. Kelly (Vg). 2) 1922 Exhibits (2 cards): J. Frank Baker (Vg) and Eppa Rixey (Vg-Ex). 3) 1922 Eastern Exhibit Supply Co. (1 card): Tris Speaker (Gd). 4) 1925 Exhibits (1 card): Joseph Sewell (Pr). 5) 1925-1931 Postcard-Back Exhibits (1 card): Pie Traynor (Fr). 6) 1927 Exhibits (2 cards): Rogers Hornsby (Pr, presents Vg-Ex but downgraded due to glue and excess paper on reverse) and Anthony Lazzeri (Vg). 7) 1928 Exhibits (6 cards): Grover C. Alexander (Fr), Gordon Cochrane (Ex), Stanley Harris (Pr), Leo Hartnett (Gd+), Fredrick Lindstrom (Gd/Vg), and Paul Waner (Pr). All have the factory-issued tab affixed to the reverse. 8) 1928 R315 (1 card): Lou Gehrig (SGC Authentic, irregular cut on bottom border, otherwise Vg).
