1909-1911 T206 Rube Marquard - Uzit Back - PSA NM 7 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $2,000, Sold For - $18,960

Graded NM 7 by PSA. Extraordinary ultra high-grade example of Hall of Famer Rube Marquard (follow-through pitching pose) with rare Uzit advertising back. This is one of only two T206 Marquard examples with this rare advertising reverse on record at PSA (in any grade) and is the highest graded by a large margin (the other is VG+ 3.5). In addition, this card is one of only four T206 Uzit examples (of any subject) to ever grade NM 7 or higher out of 176 examples evaluated between PSA and SGC to date. This is an extremely high grade T206 that would be noteworthy for even a Piedmont or Sweet Caporal common, but is extraordinary given that this is a Hall of Famer with an Uzit reverse. According to, Uzit ranks as the sixth most difficult (out of thirty-nine) advertising back to find. This is a remarkable card! Crisp and clean, both front and back, with brilliant colors, perfect registration, full borders, and four sharp corners. Centered slightly to the bottom. The important advertising back is boldly printed and entirely clean. A tremendous example in unparalleled high grade of this T206 Hall of Famer with the desirable Uzit advertising reverse. Reserve $2,000. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $18,960
