1909-1911 T206 White Border SGC-Graded Hall of Fame Collection (4)

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $830

Collection of four Hall of Famers from the T206 White Border set, each professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC: Frank Chance/portrait, yellow background (SGC EX 60); Johnny Evers/with bat, Chicago on shirt (SGC FAIR 20, presents VG-EX, downgraded due to excess paper and small area of paper loss on reverse); John McGraw/glove at hip (SGC EX 60); and Joe Tinker/bat off shoulder (SGC VG 40, presents EX+, downgraded due to glue residue from album removal). Each card has a Piedmont advertising reverse with the exception of Tinker (Sweet Caporal). This is a very attractive group of Hall of Famers from one of the most popular and classic of all prewar baseball-card sets. The equivalent SMR for these four cards (not accounting for the one half grade) is $1,090. Total: 4 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $830
