1888 N332 S. F. Hess Buffalo Bill

Starting Bid - $100, Sold For - $356

Rare type card from the 1888 N332 S. F. Hess set featuring legendary showman Buffalo Bill. Graded POOR 10 by SGC, this example presents extremely well (at a much higher-grade level!) with only a few minor surface indentations visible on front and erased writing (identifying the subject as "William F. Cody/Buffalo Bill") present on the reverse responsible for the harsh technical grade. This is a very attractive example featuring one of the most celebrated figures of the day from this classic nineteenth-century nonsport set. Reserve $100. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $356
