1992 Topps Stadium Club Football High Series Unopened Wax Box Collection (9 Unopened Boxes/324 packs)

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $5,036

Collection of nine complete unopened wax boxes of 1992 Topps Stadium Club Series 3 football cards. Each box contains thirty-six packs for a total of 324 packs in this collection. While most modern material is produced in such tremendous quantities that in many cases it has not retained value, these scarce wax boxes are a universally recognized exception and remain as one of the most desirable products manufactured for any sport during the 1990s due to its limited print run. Billed as "Super Premium Picture Cards," the high-number series features the rookie card of future Hall of Famer Brett Favre as well as ninety-nine other stars and players of the day. The factory-issued cellophane is intact on each box with the Topps logo printed directly on the wrapper, asserting their authenticity. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with respect to the grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility (perhaps even likelihood) that Gem Mint examples of Brett Favre's rookie and other cards exist within these boxes. This is a tremendous potential investment unit and an outstanding untouched collection of these rare unopened boxes in overall Nr-Mt/Mt condition. Total: 9 boxes. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000++. SOLD FOR $5,036
