1935 R331 National Chicle #9 Knute Rockne

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $830

Graded EX/NM 80 by SGC. Stunning high-grade example of this famous key football-card rarity, featuring Rockne in a portrait pose. Pack-fresh card with strong color, clarity, and crisp registration. The reverse is also crisp and clean with bold blue print. The card is centered to the left (approximately 20/80 L/R) with four sharp corners. The 1935 National Chicle Knute Rockne is one of the most popular and recognizable football cards from any era. This card is always highly sought-after, on any short list of the hobby's most classic cards, and, of course, very rare to find in such high grade. Extremely strong example with the appearance in almost all respects of a NM card. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,000. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $830
