For more information about the assembly and the condition of the PSA-graded complete 1933 Goudey set that is consigned to this auction (of which this is a part) and which has been broken down into 110 smaller lots, please visit this link which provides the introduction to the set that appears in the printed catalog:

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Highest graded 1933 Goudey #47 Heinie Manush, and one of only ten examples graded at this level (out of 269 examples graded by PSA to date). Bold image of Manush in a follow-through batting pose illustrated with vibrant colors and near-flawless registration. Excellent centering, corners showing a hint of minor wear (most noticeable to the bottom two), and clean, off-white borders and reverse. Manush was a skilled hitter, finishing with over 2,500 hits and a career .330 batting average at the end of his seventeen seasons in the Major Leagues. A very attractive extremely high-grade PSA example that would be a significant addition to virtually any 1933 Goudey PSA Registry set or Hall of Fame collection. SMR value is $2,200. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+.
