1973 Topps Unopened Wax Box (24 packs) - Fifth Series

Starting Bid - $1,500.00, Sold For - $9,480.00

Rare original unopened wax box of the 1973 Topps (fifth series) baseball. This box houses a total of twenty-four wax packs with each pack containing ten cards for a total of 240 cards. The 1973 Topps fifth series is highlighted by the rookie card of Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt as well as all the other important high numbers. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, it is entirely possible that this box includes several MINT and GEM MINT examples of many cards in the set. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (Steve Hart), the foremost expert on unopened material. The box displays beautifully, appearing almost exactly as it did on the store shelves forty years ago. This is an incredible unopened wax box from the most desirable series of this very popular set. Total: 24 packs. Reserve $1,500. Estimate $3,000+.
