1957 Topps #95 Mickey Mantle PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $2,666.25

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Stunning high-grade example of what is universally recognized as one of Mantle's most classic cards. In addition to being one of Mantle's most striking and popular cards, this card dates from one of Mantle's MVP years and follows his finest season (1956 triple crown stats: 52 home runs, 130 RBI, .353 batting average). Getting this card in a pack in 1957 was as good as it got. The image used on the card features a young "Mick" in a mighty swing-thru pose. Exceptionally crisp and perfectly clean, both front and back, with four square corners, and perfect registration. Centered very slightly towards the bottom right. Superb ultra high-grade example of one of Mantle's most popular cards and the key card from the 1957 Topps set. SMR value for the assigned grade is $2,300. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
