Magnificent high-grade examples of Sandy Koufax's first- and second-year cards. Both cards are graded SGC NM 84 (submitted by REA). 1) 1955 Topps #123: Sharp-looking example of his rookie card, well-centered with minimal hints of wear noticeable to the four corners. Bold color with light printing specs against the yellow background (common to this card and mentioned only for the sake of accuracy), and perfectly clean reverse. 2) 1956 Topps #79: White-back example, centered approximately 40/60 L/R and 60/40 T/B, minimal wear visible to the corners, and perfectly clean front and back. This is a particularly desirable pairing of Koufax cards, including the important rookie, in very attractive high grade. The equivalent SMR value for the two cards is $1,200. Reserve $400.
