1933 DeLong Gum and 1933 Uncle Jacks Hall of Famer Sample-Cards (2)

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $948.00

Pair of extremely high quality cards featuring Hall of Famers from two different rare 1930s sets. Each card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA or SGC. 1) 1933 R333 DeLong: #13 Rabbit Maranville (SGC NM+ 86). Stunning blazer HOF sample card that would be at home in any world-class card collection. 2) 1933 Uncle Jacks Candy: Al Simmons (PSA VG 3). As can be seen even at a glance, this card presents considerably stronger than suggested by the PSA-assigned grade. The front is Nr/Mt-Mt. The reverse has marks from the stick of gum that the card was once packaged with (which is not uncommon with Uncle Jacks candy cards from the legendary unopened pack find of the 1970s, of which this is obviously an example) and a couple tiny surface wrinkles. We grade this card higher. This is a very attractive pair of Hall of Famers from two rare and unusual 1930s issues. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $948.00
