1914 E145 Cracker Jack #17 Roger Bresnahan - "No Number on Back" Variation

Starting Bid - $1,000.00, Sold For - $2,251.50

Graded EX 5 by PSA. One of only two examples graded at this level by PSA, with none graded higher. A very attractive high-grade example of key Hall of Famer Roger Bresnahan from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This is a very interesting and noteworthy card in the 1914 Cracker Jack set. Card #17 Bresnahan was issued in two ways: with and without the card number on the reverse. The offered example is the rarer "No Number on Back" variety. The card is well-centered with bold color and a strong image. No creases or staining. The corners show even wear and minor rounding. Due to their method of issue, 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are very difficult to find in high grade (far more so than 1915 Cracker Jacks). An extremely strong example of this rarity and a worthy addition to any 1914 Cracker Jack master set. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,251.50
