1914 E145 Cracker Jack #37 Grover Alexander

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $2,370.00

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Very attractive example of Hall of Famer Grover Alexander from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This card presents with outstanding, bold colors, four strong corners, and is centered slightly to the right. A very light, half-inch crease is visible extending from the top border to the "r" in "Cracker." Minor caramel staining, in the upper right corner and near the bottom border, on both front and back, is visible as is almost always the case with #144 series cards. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. This is an outstanding example of Hall of Famer Grover Alexander from the classic 1914 Cracker Jack series. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $2,370.00
