1910 E79 Philadelphia Caramel Boxing Complete Set (21): #3 SGC Set Registry

Extremely attractive complete SGC-graded set of E79 Philadelphia Caramel "Scrappers." All twenty-one cards are graded and encapsulated by SGC (all submitted by REA). The set ranks third on the SGC Registry, with a 50.95 GPA. This colorful set features notable boxers, among them Abe Attell, Jim Jeffries, and Jack Johnson, in a variety of different fighting poses. Two cards illustrate the proper and improper way to make a clinched fighting fist. The SGC grades are as follows: One EX+ 70: Sullivan. Seven EX 60: Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Jeffries, Johnson/Cole, Kaufman/Sullivan, Ketchell, and Rawlins (Right Hand). Three VG/EX+ 55: Hart, Johnson, and O'Brien/Partner. Two VG/EX 50: Burns and Sharkey. Two VG+ 45: Arm and Clinched Fist (Right Way) and Jeanette. Four VG 40: Attell, Arm and Clinched Fist (Wrong Way), Gans/Nelson, and Langford. One GOOD+ 35: Johnson/Burns. One GOOD 30: Marto/Nelson. Each card reverse lists four primary boxing rules to be observed, a partial checklist of subjects, and an ad for Philadelphia Caramel Co.
