Collection of fifteen New York Yankees or Brooklyn Dodgers World Series ticket stubs, spanning the years 1941 through 1949, each with the unique provenance of originating from the personal collection of Keith Sutton, who was one of the founding members of SABR (Society for American Baseball Research). A number of Sutton's other personal souvenirs, including cards, programs, and autographs, are offered as separate lots elsewhere in this auction. Sutton, whose biography can be viewed on the SABR website (, attended each of the games represented here, as evidenced by his pencil or ink notations (score, date, etc.) on the reverse of each ticket.
