1967 Boston Red Sox American League Champions Team-Signed Ball

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $474.00

Official American League (Cronin) ball signed in blue ink by the following twenty-six members of the American League champion Boston Red Sox: Yastrzemski (on ball label; Triple Crown winner), Williams (Mgr., sweet spot, clubhouse signature), Conigliaro (sweet spot, clubhouse signature), Harrelson, Smith, Howard, Santiago, Bell, Brandon, Andrews, Jones, Ryan, Brett, Petrocelli, Siebern, Maglie (coach), Wyatt, Adair, Foy, Stange, Lonborg, Waslewski, Tartabull, Thomas, Osinski, and one other (illegible). Signatures range from "5" to "10," averaging "8/9." This ball was obviously signed late in the season, as both Elston Howard and Jim Landis were traded to the club in August and both of their signatures appear. As such, it is an especially desirable example from Boston's only pennant-winning season of the decade. The ball remains in Near Mint condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $474.00
