1989 Perez-Steele Celebration and 1985-1995 Great Moments Signed Postcard Collection (194 Signed Cards)

This collection is comprised of four near-complete signed sets of 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration postcards plus a near-complete signed set of 1985-1995 Perez-Steele Great Moments postcards. Each player has signed his respective card on the front in blue Sharpie, with all of the signatures grading "10." The cards are all in Near Mint condition. 1) Four complete sets of 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration Postcards (144 Hall of Famer signed cards): Each forty-four card limited-edition set remains housed in its original green presentation case with issued slipcover. Out of the forty-four cards in the set, only forty-one could have possibly been signed. Each of these four sets features the same thirty-six signed cards : Aaron, Aparicio, Banks, Bench, Berra, Boudreau, Dandridge, Doerr, Ferrell, Gehringer, Herman, Hunter, Irvin, Kaline, Kell, Killebrew, Kiner, Lemon, Leonard, Lopez, Mantle, Marichal, Mathews, McCovey, Mize, Musial, Reese, B. Robinson, Sewell, Slaughter, Snider, Spahn, Stargell, B. Williams, T. Williams, and Yastrzemski. (The five signed cards missing for completion in each set are Bell, Campanella, Chandler, Conlan, and Dickey.) The offered sets are numbered, respectively, "02505/10,000," 02506/10,000," 02507/10,000," and "02508/10,000." 176 cards total in the four sets, with 144 of the 176 cards signed. 2) 1985-1995 Perez-Steele Great Moments Postcard set (49 Hall of Famer signed cards): Complete limited-edition set of 108 Perez-Steele Great Moments Postcards with their original issued boxes. Of the 108 cards in the set, only seventy-two could have possibly been signed. This set features forty-nine of those possible seventy-two signed cards: Kaline, Ford, Campanella, Aaron, Musial, T. Williams, Spahn, Koufax, Roberts, Mantle, Banks, McCovey, Mize, Reese, Irvin, Mathews, Slaughter, Snider, Dandridge, Doerr, Stargell, B. Robinson, Herman, Aparicio, Gomez, Killebrew, Bench, Berra, Schoendienst, Marichal, Leonard, Kell, Hunter, Lopez, Mays, Brock, Lemon, B. Williams, Ferrell, Yastrzemski, Seaver, Fingers, Carew, Perry, Newhouser, Barlick, Mays/Mantle/Snider (together on card #87 "Mickey, Willie, and the Duke"), Jenkins, and F. Robinson. Also included in the set is a signed example of card #91 (Reese and Robinson), signed by Reese. The offered set is numbered "3908/5,000." As a point of reference, the 2011 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards lists the combined value of the offered 144 signed Celebration cards and fifty signed Great Moments postcards at $9,675.
