1953 Bowman Color #44 Bauer/Berra/Mantle - PSA NM-MT 8

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Stunning high-grade example of one of the key cards from the classic 1953 Bowman Color series. This is also one of the most interesting and distinctive of all 1950s cards, featuring an outstanding candid image of Mantle, Berra, and Bauer in the dugout of Yankee Stadium. The offered card has four sharp corners, a crystal-clear image, snow-white borders, and is centered slightly to the bottom border (60/40 T/B). The reverse of the card is perfectly clean with an extremely tiny fleck of paper turned up on the reverse along the top edge. This is an exceptional high-grade example of one of the all-time classic 1950s gum cards. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,150. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,304
