1948 Bowman Complete Set (48)

Offered is a complete set of forty-eight cards from the 1948 Bowman series, the first baseball-card set issued by Bowman Gum, highlighted by key rookie cards of many stars and Hall of Famers. Condition: 35% range in grade from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex), 65% Gd (due to glue residue on the reverse). Three key cards have been graded and encapsulated by SGC (all submitted by REA). Keys: #1 Elliot RC (Gd), 2 Blackwell (Gd), 3 Kiner RC (Gd), 4 Mize (Gd), 5 Feller (sheet-cut), 6 Berra RC (GOOD 30), 7 Reiser SP (Gd), 8 Rizzuto RC (Gd), 12 Sain RC (sheet -cut), 14 Reynolds RC (Vg), 17 Slaughter (Pr), 18 Spahn RC (VG 40), 19 Henrich (Ex), 21 Fain RC (Gd), 22 Bevins SP (Fr), 29 Page RC (Gd), 35 Stirnweiss RC (Vg-Ex), 36 Musial RC (GOOD 30), 38 Schoendienst (Vg), 40 Marion RC (Gd), 45 Sauer (Gd), and 47 Thomson RC (Gd).
