Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,133

Collection of thirty-six different T206 White Border cards in various grades, including five Hall of Famers, highlighted by Cy Young. Highlights: Chase/white cap (GOOD 2), Evers/Chicago (VG-EX 4), Griffith/port. (trimmed), Huggins/port. (VG-EX 4), Maddox (VG-EX 4), McGraw/finger (GOOD+ 2.5), and Young/bare hand (VG-EX 4). The balance of the cards in this collection grade as follows: Nineteen cards range from Gd to Vg, and ten are lesser (including a few trimmed). Tobacco cards in this condition represent perhaps the best value among all vintage baseball cards. This is a very attractive small group of classic T206 tobacco cards.
