Extremely Rare 1960 Armour Coins Bud Daley - Tan Variation

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $940

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. The extremely scarce 1960 Armour Coin of Bud Daley (tan-color variation) is one of the ultra rare coins in the 1960 Armour Coins set. The 1960 Armor Coins Bud Daley appears on virtually every Armour Coins want list and since 1960 has kept almost all collectors from ever completing their sets. The reason for the great rarity of Daley is shrouded in mystery. Several popular explanations which appear to have no basis in fact are that the molding equipment broke, that there were contract disputes, or that the coin was only inserted in an unsuccessful test product. This is a very high-grade example of one of the great rarities of the Armour Coins set. Virtually flawless! Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $940
