1955 Topps #210 Duke Snider - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,350

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Of the 1,076 examples graded to date by PSA, only four examples of this card have ever been graded higher. The 1955 Topps #210 Duke Snider is the last card in the set, an extreme condition rarity, and part of the scarce high-number series. Just as card #1 Dusty Rhodes was subject to excessive wear due to gravitating to the top of the pile as kids organized their cards by number in 1955, #210 Snider was also subject to excessive wear at the bottom of the pile. This card has always been a very difficult card to find in anything even resembling high grade for anyone putting together a quality 1955 Topps set. This card is an absolutely stunning gem! It may be the finest example we have ever seen and it is without question worthy of the finest 1955 Topps set in the world! Bright, crisp, and clean, with four sharp corners, flawless registration, perfect gloss, and centered to the left (approximately 30/70 L/R). The reverse is also perfectly clean with boldly printed text. A tremendous example of this significant Topps condition rarity. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. SOLD FOR $2,350
