1949 Bowman #24 Stan Musial - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $940

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Of the 552 examples graded by PSA, only ten cards have been graded higher. Stunning high-grade 1949 Bowman example of Hall of Famer Stan Musial. This is one of Musial’s most striking and popular cards, and one of the great classics of postwar bubble-gum cards. 1949 Bowmans are extremely hard to find in high grade in part because these cards often naturally have soft corners due to the quality of the paper stock on which they are printed. The offered example of key card Stan Musial has a perfectly crisp image, with flawless registration, and crisp, perfect off-white borders. Flawlessly clean, both front and back, with four sharp corners, and centered just slightly towards the top left. Pack-fresh, crisp, high-grade example of one of Musial’s most classic cards worthy of the finest 1949 Bowman or Hall of Fame card collection. SMR value is $1,100. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. SOLD FOR $940
