1909-1911 T206 Doc Crandall Portrait - Rare "Red Hindu" Back

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $1,645

Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Extremely attractive example of New York Giants' pitcher Doc Crandall from the T206 White Borders series, with a Red Hindu back. T206s with Red Hindu advertising reverses are both striking and very rare. The card is bright and crisp, both front and back, with a deep, red background to Crandall's portrait, a couple of very light horizontal creases, perfect registration, and even wear to the corners. This is a very sharp looking and conservatively graded T206 sample card with the rare Red Hindu advertising reverse. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $1,645
