1909-1911 T206 Walter Johnson - Portrait

Graded EX 5 by PSA. Extremely attractive high-grade example of one of collecting's most classic cards. T206 Walter Johnson portrait is one of the most famous of all vintage baseball cards. This card is widely recognized to be among Walter Johnson's most striking cards. In fact, the majestic portrait of Johnson on this card is considered by many advanced collectors to be the single best image of Walter Johnson to appear on any baseball card. This is a beautiful example! It is crisp and clean, with bold colors and a bright yellow background. The corners are square with just a hint of even, very light wear. Centered 40/60 left to right. The Piedmont advertising on the back is boldly printed. This is an exceptional card in an extremely desirable grade, and would be a worthy addition to any T206, Walter Johnson, or classic Hall of Fame card collection.
