Graded NM 84 by SGC. Highest-graded example by SGC! Extremely striking and exceptionally attractive high-grade example of the rare T206 Elberfeld (portrait), Washington. This card has always been recognized as one of the rarities of the T206 White Borders tobacco-card series. The offered example is bright and clean, with a bold red background, four sharp corners with just the slightest hint of wear, no creases, centered a hint to the top left (with a slight natural diamond cut), and flawless registration. This is a very strong card, and is far superior to what is normally seen for the rare T206 Elberfeld. Sweet Caporal Cigarettes advertisement on reverse.
