1909-1911 T206 Bill Bergen - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,763

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Batting pose. One of only six examples graded at this level by PSA with none graded higher. This extremely high grade T206 of Bill Bergen has bright colors, four razor-sharp corners, and perfect registration. Centered just a hint to the left border (45/55). Bright, crisp, and clean. Piedmont advertising on reverse. Based on the PSA Population Report, this is a particularly difficult card to find in extremely high grade. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $865. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,763
