1910-1912 T215 Red Cross Tobacco Type 1 - Sam Crawford

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,763

Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Very attractive example of key Hall of Famer Sam Crawford from the extremely rare T215 Red Cross Tobacco (Type 1) series. This card is one of the many highlights from one of vintage-card collecting's most exciting recent discoveries: the Louisiana Find of 2010 (comprised of just 94 cards, all rarities, including eight T207 Red Cross back cards). Bright and fairly clean, with evenly rounded corners, no creases, and a natural diamond cut. The back has boldly printed text. This is an outstanding sample and one of the few T215 Red Cross Hall of Famers from The Louisiana Find. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
