1963 Fleer Checklist - SGC MINT 96 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $1,175

Graded MINT 96 by SGC. Highest-graded example by SGC! Extremely high grade example of this condition rarity. The checklist card has always been a natural stumbling block to the assembly of a high-grade 1963 Fleer set. Most checklist cards were discarded by youngsters who were more interested in cards which pictured their favorite players than a list of cards in the set. Those checklist cards which were not discarded were often marked with pen or pencil as intended. Few, especially checklist cards which were unnumbered such as this (and therefore weren't even needed to fill a number "slot" in sets), have survived in Mint condition. This pack-fresh short print displays razor-sharp corners, flawless colors, and is centered slightly to the top (approximately 40/60 T/B). One of the finest ultra high-grade examples of this 1960s rarity that we have ever seen. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+.
