Complete 33-card set of Red Heart Dog Food baseball cards. Red Hearts have always been a favorite with collectors. Many consider Red Hearts to be one of the most attractive sets ever issued. The distinctive artwork and the unusual product with which they were issued both contribute to making Red Hearts one of the 1950's most noteworthy sets. Though comprised of only 33 cards, the set features many of the greatest stars of the early 1950s, including Mantle, Musial, Snider, Ashburn, Spahn, and Fox. We have selected five cards from this crisp, sharp-looking set to be graded by SGC. Keys: Ashburn (SGC EX/NM 80), Erskine (Ex-Mt), Fox (Ex-Mt), Kell (Nr/Mt), Kiner (Ex), Kluszewski (Ex-Mt), Lemon (Vg-Ex), Mantle (SGC NM 84), Martin (Ex), McDougald SP (Ex-Mt), Minoso (Ex-Mt), Musial (SGC EX/NM 80), Schoendienst (Ex), Slaughter (SGC NM+ 86), Snider (20/80 L/R, otherwise Ex-Mt), and Spahn (SGC NM 84). The balance of the cards grade as follows: two Nr/Mt and fifteen Ex-Mt. This is a beautiful high-grade complete set of this distinctive and extremely popular 1950s issue. Total 33 cards.
