1914 E145 Cracker Jack #6 Eddie Plank

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,880

Graded EX 60 by SGC. A very attractive high-grade example of key Hall of Famer Eddie Plank from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. Bright and crisp, with four square corners, and flawless color. The reverse is perfectly clean, with absolutely no caramel staining. Centered 30/70 top to bottom. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. It is rare to find any #144 series Cracker Jack in such high grade, let alone a high-grade example of Hall of Famer Eddie Plank. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000. SOLD FOR $1,880
