1912 T207 Brown Background PSA NM-MT 8 Collection (12)

Starting Bid - $5,000, Sold For - $12,925

Collection of twelve 1912 T207 Brown Backgrounds in extraordinarily high grade from the #1 T207 Master Set on the PSA Registry. This is an astounding group. Each card has been graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Only twenty-seven T207s in the history of PSA have ever been graded NM-MT 8. This lot includes twelve of them. (Note: only one MINT 9 and one qualified MINT 9 have ever been graded.) The collection is comprised of Barry, Bodie, Chalmers, Derrick, Henriksen, Knetzer, Konetchy, McDonald, Northen, Quinn (flake of paper loss on the upper right corner), Snodgrass, and Stanage. All of these cards (except one) are the highest-graded examples in the PSA population report. All are perfectly crisp, extremely clean both front and back, with flawless color, sharp corners, and no creases. This is an incredible group of high-grade gems. This small group of twelve cards would make an enormous contribution to any high-grade T207 Brown Background set or collection. The SMR value for these twelve cards in the assigned grades is $15,000. Total 12 cards. Reserve $5,000. Estimate $10,000+. SOLD FOR $12,925
