Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Of the 260 examples graded by PSA, only two cards have been graded higher. Exceptional ultra high-grade example of infamous "Black Sox" pitcher Ed Cicotte in a throwing pose from the highly desirable T206 White Border series. Bright and clean, both front and back, with striking colors, four sharp corners, and virtually perfect centering. The Piedmont advertisement on the back is printed in bold blue ink. This is an extraordinary high-grade T206 example of a particularly noteworthy player in the T206 set, and one of Ed Cicotte's most highly prized and stunning cards. SMR value is $1,650. Reserve $500.
