It is always fun to have the opportunity to present an "instant diverse collection" of quality vintage cards (and pins) that can't be offered individually only due to value considerations, but are of a quality that can be appreciated by all collectors, beginning or advanced. Collections of such diversity are always very popular with bidders. They represent a tremendous value, are often a great learning experience for collectors (many advanced collectors have told us they were jump-started years ago by similar REA auction lots), and can often have a remarkable break value. This is a fascinating representation of many classic card issues from the prewar era, including numerous Hall of Famers and highlights, accompanied by a collection of twenty-eight P2 Sweet Caporal pins, including Walter Johnson, Cy Young, and Ty Cobb. Total 68 items (40 cards plus 28 pins). Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $4,700
