1907 PC805 Novelty Cutlery Eddie Plank - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $2,350

Graded EX 5 by PSA. One of only two examples graded at this level by PSA, with none graded higher. Outstanding example of one of Eddie Plank's most stunning cards, from the very rare and highly regarded PC805 Novelty Cutlery postcard set, issued in 1907. All Novelty Cutlery postcards are extremely rare. This gem barely falls short of Ex-Mt due only to just the slightest touch too much of light, even corner wear. Bright, crisp, and clean. An ideal sample. The card has never been mailed and has no writing on its traditional postcard reverse. This is a stunning high-grade example of one of the key Hall of Famers from this beautiful and rare set. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000++. SOLD FOR $2,350
